Mike Scioscia Youth Baseball Clinic presented by Howards
On Saturday, April 19th, join Angels Manager Mike Scioscia as he and the Amateur Baseball Development Group host the Mike Scioscia Youth Baseball Clinic. The clinic is open to the public and will be held at Conejo Creek Ballpark in Thousand Oaks. Angels players, coaches and broadcasters will team up to teach the group the fundamentals of baseball. The free clinic provides the kids with an opportunity to play baseball with the Angels and hone new and old skills.

Angels' RBI Clinics
On April 19th and 26th, the Angels RBI League will host morning Baseball and Softball Clinics in the outfield of Angel Stadium of Anaheim. Members of the league, ages 12 to 18, will work on their fielding, batting, sliding, and pitching skills in the outfield with Boys & Girls Club staff, local coaches, and Angels' players and coaches. They will also focus on QuickSMART, a Boys & Girls Clubs of America prevention program designed to give kids the skills to make wise choices in their daily lives. The Angels' RBI League, as a partnership of Major League Baseball, Angels Baseball and Boys & Girls Clubs Orange County, provides kids who would otherwise not have the chance, the opportunity to play baseball and softball in an organized league.

Angels Youth Clinics
During the 2008 season, the Angels and Memorial Care Medical Centers will host a series of youth baseball clinics throughout Southern California. The aim is to not only teach them the proper fundamentals of the game of baseball and softball, but also the fun that can be had while playing. The clinics are held in conjunction with local parks and recreation departments with Angels players/coaches serving as instructors for each clinic. Each youth clinic is free and open to the public.
