Who are the Angels Strike Force? The Strike Force are a female cheerleader-like interactive squad that perform various tasks at Angels Baseball home games.
What do they do? Game presentation activities during all Angels home games include t-shirt launches, prize giveaways and fan contests performed live on the stadium's video board. Strike Force members also serve as ambassadors at a variety of community, sponsor, marketing and radio events when the team is on the road.
What type of qualifications and background do you need? A Strike Force member must be comfortable performing activities and interacting with fans on camera in front of 40,000+ people. Must also be comfortable wearing cheerleader-like attire. Previous experience as a cheerleader, dancer, gymnast, performer or pep squad member preferred but not necessary. Individuals should have outstanding public speaking and communication skills and a positive, energetic personality. Must be reliable, punctual, and courteous. Good listening skills and ability to work with brief instruction and supervision. Must also be flexible to accommodate quick and professional responses to any situation.
What is the time commitment? This is a part-time seasonal position that works February-November. Availability to work during Angel home games, nights, weekends and holidays and all other special events as needed.
