Q: How do I start selling my tickets?
Step 1:   Set-up your new StubHub Account by logging on to StubHub.com. It's FREE and EASY! You must create a new account. Your Angels' ID or MyAngelsAccount will not work.

Step 2:   Begin posting your tickets for sale today.
  • THERE ARE NO GAME LIMITS. List a single game or list multiple games. There are no limits on the number of games that you may post and sell for the regular season and postseason in 2008.
  • THERE ARE NO PRICE LIMITS. You have options - A FIXED starting price, a DECLINING price where the price gets lower as time passes, or an AUCTION price where fans bid on the final price. Be aware that the rate at which your tickets sold under the previous program was primarily due to your ticket priced within reason. Asking for the highest price may reduce the probability of your tickets selling. You and you only will determine your expectations. The Angels will not be responsible for the probability at which your tickets may or may not sell.
  • SEAT DESCRIPTION. It is the Season Seat Holder's responsibility to provide factual ticket information. By doing this you will increase the probability of selling your tickets.
Step 3:   YOUR TICKETS HAVE SOLD! Confirm ticket availability with StubHub.
  • STUBHUB WILL NOTIFY YOU BY EMAIL that a buyer has selected your tickets for purchase and you are required to respond.
  • YOUR SALE TRANSACTION IS ONLY COMPLETE WHEN YOU CONFIRM WITHIN 48 HOURS that your tickets are still available for the pending sale. StubHub requires that you complete this important step in order to ensure that the buyer will receive the tickets.
Step 4a:   YOUR TICKETS SOLD AT LEAST 3 DAYS BEFORE THE GAME - SHIPPING YOUR TICKETS.
  • STUBHUB WILL EMAIL YOU the buyer's shipping address information.
  • PRINT THE FEDEX MAILING LABEL with buyer's shipping address as instructed at StubHub.com.
  • USE ONLY A FEDEX MAILING ENVELOPE. FedEx envelopes are available at any FedEx location (visit FedEx.com for nearest location) or at the StubHub service window at Angel Stadium adjacent to Gate 3 (open 3 hours before game time).
  • DROP OFF YOUR PACKAGE AT A FEDEX DROP LOCATION NEAR YOU. For official drop locations in your area visit FedEx.com.
Step 4b:   YOUR TICKETS DID NOT SELL 3 DAYS BEFORE THE GAME, but you still want them left posted for sale.
  • FOR LAST-MINUTE SALE AND SHIPPING INSTRUCTIONS VISIT stubhub.com/last-minute-services. StubHub will ensure that if your tickets do sell that the buyer will get the tickets on time for the game.
Step 5:   YOU CAN CHOOSE WHETHER YOU WANT TO GET PAID via PayPal, check, or donate to a charity. You will not be able to roll your money over into your MyAngelsAccount until the enhanced StubHub Fan to Fan program is available.



Q: Why do fans sell on StubHub?
Sometimes fans and season ticket holders have tickets to a game which they cannot attend. StubHub provides a safe and secure environment to do all of these things.


Q: How much does it cost to use StubHub?
It is free to list tickets for sale, and to search for tickets to buy on StubHub. On each completed transaction, the buyer pays a 10% transaction fee, and sellers are charged a 15% transaction fee. On the sale of a $100 ticket, the buyer would pay $110. The seller would net $85.


Q: Where do I go with questions for StubHub?
StubHub's live, in-house customer service representatives are available by e-mail seven days a week at customerservice@stubhub.com. The number is 866-StubHub (866-788-2482). StubHub monitors and supports every ticket transaction to help ensure the satisfaction of every user.


Q: What is StubHub's FanProtect™ guarantee?
For Buyers, StubHub guarantees:
 • You will get your tickets in time for the event.
 • Your tickets will be authentic and valid for entry.
 • You will receive tickets comparable to or better than the tickets you ordered, or your money back.
 • You will be refunded if the event is cancelled and is not rescheduled.

For Sellers, StubHub guarantees:
 • You will never be contacted directly by a buyer or prospective buyer.
 • You can adjust your ticket prices to reflect marketplace value at any time.


Q: Why would ticket buyers choose to buy in the StubHub ticket marketplace?
The StubHub marketplace strives to offer a choice of seats and price points at any given event, even those that are "sold out." This gives potential buyers the information to determine fair market value and the flexibility to make their choice.

Buying on StubHub is convenient - the buyer enters their credit card information on the secure StubHub web site. The seller never sees the buyer's confidential financial information. Once the seller has accepted the buyer's order, the buyer receives order confirmation with information regarding how they'll be receiving their tickets. StubHub's toll-free customer service number is open seven days a week to assist buyers and sellers.

All tickets purchased on the StubHub marketplace are covered by the StubHub FanProtect™ Guarantee.


Q. Is reselling tickets legal?
There are no Federal laws restricting the resale of tickets. Reselling tickets is legal in all 50 states. Many states have laws against reselling tickets at an event site due to nuisance issues, fraud risk, and potential personal risk. In some states there are limitations on the amount above face value that can be charged. In order to sell tickets on the StubHub Marketplace, sellers must accept StubHub's terms of service, and agree to abide by local regulations.


Q: How do I set prices for my tickets?
It's up to you to decide on the sale price of your tickets. Enter your desired price per ticket for each listing. Remember, when your tickets sell, StubHub collects a 15% commission from each sale, which is deducted prior to StubHub sending your payment. Be sure to keep this in mind when deciding on a price.

To help you decide on a price, you might look at the sale price of other comparable listings. This can give you an idea of what the market value of your tickets may be. Remember, StubHub cannot guarantee that your tickets will sell.

When setting the sale price of your tickets, it is your responsibility to comply with all applicable local, state, federal and international laws, statutes and regulations.

StubHub doesn't collect a commission if your tickets do not sell.


Q. If my tickets sell, how do I get them to the buyer?
Currently, when your tickets sell on StubHub you'll receive an email with instructions on how to confirm your order and a link to a pre-paid Fed-Ex airbill. (FedEx envelopes are available at any FedEx or FedEx Kinkos locations or at the Service Window at Angel Stadium of Anaheim, located adjacent to Gate 3 near the Team Store. Open during home games only, 3 hours prior to the game.) Simply drop your tickets off at the nearest Fed-Ex location or drop box, and you're good to go. We've got plans to make this process even easier in coming months, and as soon as the tools are ready we'll make sure to let you know.

We are working with StubHub on a process where any baseball ticket purchased through StubHub will be delivered to the buyer digitally and you as the Season Seat Holder will not need to do anything more than confirm ticket that you are selling. We plan to have this available in the coming months. Any enhancements to the way in which you will use the current StubHub service to sell your tickets will be communicated to you as early as possible so that this service continues to be clear and easy to use.

Selling Tickets with Last Minute Services

For certain events in select markets, you may be able to sell your tickets using our free Last Minute Services. With Last Minute Services, your tickets can remain listed at StubHub until closer to the event start time, allowing buyers to purchase them even at the last minute. All Last Minute Services requests must be pre-approved.

Listing tickets with Last Minute Services works much like any other listing. However, instead of shipping your tickets to the buyer, you’ll provide them in advance to the Last Minute Service Center handling last-minute sales for the event.

To use Last Minute Services to sell tickets:

  1. Find the event that you’d like to sell tickets for and click on "Sell"
  2. Choose "Sell with free Last Minute Services" by clicking the Get Started button on the right side of the page.
  3. Complete the online Last Minute Services request form. Be sure to fill in all the fields.
  4. Click Sign Up.

If your request for Last Minute Services is approved, we'll send you a consent form to fill out and return with your tickets to the Last Minute Service Center handling last-minute sales for the event.

We cannot guarantee that your tickets will sell. As long as your tickets have not sold, you can decide to remove your listing and we'll coordinate a time before the event for you to pick up your tickets. Unsold tickets are mailed back to you within a month of your event date.

Note: If the event is cancelled and you are due a refund, we will return your tickets to you.

Last Minute Services for buyers and sellers in the StubHub marketplace are provided by Last Minute Transactions, Inc., a StubHub affiliate that owns and operates the Last Minute Service Centers.
