The foundation accomplishes this mission through financial donations, as well as in-kind support, including memorabilia, tickets and publicity. An in-stadium fundraiser presented by Royals Charities and Edelman & Thompson in which a lucky fan can win big! Staff will sell raffle tickets from the time gates open until the end of the sixth inning. One winning ticket will be selected with the winner taking home half of the evening's net proceeds. The other half will be donated to Royals Charities. Diamond of Dreams: Taking the Field for The University of Kansas Hospital, Royals Charities' on-field gala, took place on Thursday, June 26, at Kauffman Stadium. The annual event featured appearances from current and former Royals, a fabulous menu from local restaurants, an exclusive silent auction in the Royals' bullpen, live music from the Michael Beers Band, and a spectacular fireworks show. On Monday, May 12, fans and corporate supporters had the opportunity to play golf with current and former Royals at the annual Royals Charities Celebrity Golf Tournament. The event featured great gifts, food, drink, prizes on the course, and an afternoon reception and awards program. This exciting tournament was held at The National Golf Club of Kansas City and supported Special Olympics KC Metro.

Royals Charities will once again team up with 99.7 THE POINT and The Ali Kemp Educational Foundation to host a T.A.K.E. The grand walkway at Homeplate Gate C features moments in Royals history surrounded by personal messages from fans all over the country. Fans who ordered Legacy Bricks have secured their place in Royals history! A portion of the proceeds from the Royals Legacy Brick Program supported Royals Charities. The program has ended as of January 28, 2013 and bricks are no longer available for purchase.
