Twins in the Community

Twins in the Community

The Minnesota Twins Baseball Club has made a concerted effort to positively affect the community since the club's move to Minnesota in 1961. The club, its players and employees provide resources, memorabilia, volunteer hours and cash grants to assist more than 5,000 nonprofit organizations and fundraisers in the Upper Midwest and SW Florida each year.

Current and Former Player Charitable Efforts
From Harmon Killebrew, to Tony Oliva, to Kirby Puckett, to Joe Mauer, the spirit of giving back to the community has been passed player to player, from generation, to generation. Learn more about how current and former players give back.

Education Programs
The Twins know how important education is, and strive to help teachers and parents with resources to enhance the learning experience.

The Twins look to drive runs home on the field, and also to bring home to the thousands of homeless families and veterans in the Twin Cities area. Through partnerships with local homeless-serving organizations, the Twins work to raise funds and awareness for the homeless.

Healthy, Safe Kids
The Twins work with Hennepin County, and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Minnesota to promote healthy lifestyles and recreation for youth.

Go Twins, Go Green
The Twins are committed to sustainability and the environment both at Target Field and in our communities.
