The Angels overcame defensive mistakes to stay alive. Mike Napoli etched his name into Angels lore with one of the franchise's best postseason games.

He hit two home runs, drove in three runs and also got a lucky caught stealing on Jacoby Ellsbury in the seventh inning when the speedy rookie overshot second base. That was all before he started the winning rally with a single off Javier Lopez in the top of the 12th.
He was hitless in 13 at-bats in the series before he drove home the go-ahead run with a single in the top of the 12th inning.
