Ortiz tied the Yankees' Bernie Williams for the second-longest hitting streak in the history of Division Series play. Williams hit in 13 straight from Oct. 4, 2002, to Oct. 7, 2005.
The longest streak belongs to Derek Jeter, who hit in 15 straight from Oct. 14, 2001, until Oct. 4, 2005.
