Adenhart hurt by wild pitch, gives up four runs in 3 1/3 innings
ANGELS 8, GIANTS 5

Giants at the plate: Bengie Molina lived up to his cleanup hitter's role by driving in three runs, two on a first-inning double off the left-field wall. He added a perfectly executed hit-and-run RBI single in the fifth. Juan Uribe lined an RBI double and Kevin Frandsen bounced a run-scoring single in the fourth.
Angels at the plate: Back-to-back doubles by Torii Hunter, a two-run poke, and Kendry Morales generated the Angels' trio of first-inning runs. Howie Kendrick went 2-for-3 with a two-run double in the fifth. Ben Johnson put the Angels ahead with a two-run double in the eighth.Giants on the mound: Replacing the ill Tim Lincecum, left-hander Jeremy Affeldt started and yielded three runs in two innings. Justin Miller worked two shutout innings, recovering from allowing five runs in 1 1/3 innings to Team Japan last Wednesday. Bob Howry then surrendered his first two runs of the spring after pitching shutout ball in his previous five outings. Angels on the mound: Nick Adenhart might have fared better had it not been for a third-strike wild pitch he threw that enabled Nate Schierholtz to reach base leading off the fourth inning. That led to two runs off Adenhart, who yielded four runs in 3 1/3 innings. Cactus League records: Giants 8-12; Angels 13-4 Up next: The Giants are expected to give their starters a rest by using a host of relievers Tuesday against Milwaukee. By doing this, San Francisco avoids exposing its starters to the Brewers, whom they'll face in the season-opening series. For Los Angeles, John Lackey gets the ball as the Angels travel to Peoria on Tuesday to face the Padres. Right-hander Josh Geer goes for the Padres. Lackey is 2-1 in three starts with a 5.00 ERA across nine innings. Right-handers Kevin Jepsen and Justin Speier are expected to follow Lackey to the mound. Vladimir Guerrero, who had offseason right knee surgery, is expected to make his Cactus League debut Friday against the Diamondbacks in Tempe.
