AM 830 KLAA to be official radio affiliate of Notre Dame football
Angels' flagship station to carry all Fighting Irish games in 2008

ANAHEIM -- AM 830 KLAA, home of Angels' baseball and the NHL's Anaheim Ducks, will serve as the official affiliate in the Southland for 2008 Notre Dame Fighting Irish football. The Irish will play 12 games this season, starting with the season opener Sept. 6 in South Bend vs. San Diego State (kickoff at 12:30 p.m. PST). All Notre Dame games air on the Irish Football Network with Don Criqui, Allen Pinkett and Jeff Jeffers calling the action.
"We are thrilled to be involved in the tradition of Notre Dame football on AM 830 KLAA," said AM 830 President Dennis Kuhl. "It is our pleasure to provide the Irish football experience to the Southland."
