Callaspo exits game with pulled hamstring

Angels third baseman Alberto Callaspo is day to day after leaving Saturday's game against the Royals with a pulled left hamstring.

Callaspo exited in the bottom of the seventh after reaching second on a stolen base and was favoring his left leg, though he reached second without sliding. Callaspo walked to the Angels' dugout slowly but without assistance. Mark Trumbo came into the game to replace Callaspo, while Howard Kendrick slotted from first base to third.

"We're going to evaluate it tonight and see if there's any moves that need to be made," manager Mike Scioscia said. "We'll definitely look at things tomorrow morning and make a decision."

Callaspo is hitting .285 with 28 RBIs and has played in 62 of the Angels' 66 games this season.
