Angels Wives and Anaheim Firefighters to host charity raffle
ANAHEIM, CA - On Tuesday, September 18th, the Angels Wives will team up with local Anaheim Firefighters to raise money for breast cancer awareness. The group will be raffling off several autographed items, with the grand prize being a Firehouse Meal for four on September 23rd at the Anaheim Fire Station 6.
The winners will be joined by Angels outfielders Mike Trout and Peter Bourjos, bullpen coach Steve Soliz and head trainer Adam Nevala for the meal.
The event will take place outside Angel Stadium from 5 - 7:30 p.m. at the Home Plate Gate. Angels Wives and Anaheim Firefighters will greet fans and sell raffle tickets - available for purchase at $5 each, or five tickets can be purchased for $20.
All proceeds from the event will benefit Susan G. Komen for the Cure and the Angels Baseball Foundation.
