An error paved the way to the winning run, as the Blue Jays lost in extra innings. Rod Barajas hit a solo homer in the seventh for a short-lived, one-run lead. Right-hander Shaun Marcum allowed two runs on 11 hits in seven innings but got a no-decision. Brian Tallet suffered the loss.
