Juan Rivera hit a bases-loaded single in the 10th inning to give the Angels the walk-off victory. The Angels had 16 hits but wasted several chances. Righty John Lackey pitched eight strong innings, allowing two runs (one earned) but got a no-decision. Scot Shields picked up the win.
