The Angels did not go away quietly after the Mets built a five-run lead in the seventh. Jeff Mathis, Chone Figgins and Garret Anderson contributed RBI singles during a three-run rally, but it wasn't enough to overcome a subpar Jered Weaver, who lost for the seventh time this season.
